Sighs guys I hate watermarkig my stuff as undeadlittlefox especially since I dont identify with that so much anymore will me just signing my art with my signature be good enough? Maybe?
NOW that Kevin Smith announced the company in a recent article I can now say I’m working on his film ” Tusk “
It’s incredibly exciting, especially as my first independent movie credit outside of schoolwork.
I can’t go into details but I’m on board the film working on the FX as part of Robert Kurtzman’s Creature Corps, DEFINITELY check this film out when its out! oOwOo/
Sorry for the lack of updates lately!
My internet data allowance at my apartment won’t renew until the 13th and I’ve been very busy with projects at school.
Good news is I have a lot of new pictures of things I’ve been working on so I’ll be posting those as I go! oOwOo/
So my ” The Thing ” head, well, basically actually is the Thing.
Remember that bad cast of my head that was borderline nightmare fuel? Well I had planned to make it look as if the Thing has attempted to replicate me before its last moments but today when I went to take the head out of my cubby I was surprised to find that the cast actually fixed itself as if it were living tissue! As if it actually WAS the Thing!
Needless to say I paused a moment in terror and thought I was going mad! Here are some comparison shots from when I first demolded it a week ago and today when I looked at it again:
Now I know why it did this: I had used a 3 lb polyfoam filling that can, over time if it was malformed and squished, expand to its full potential and do what we have here. Regardless as fun as it is that this prop spooked me momentarily doing its best to be what it was inspired to become it is disappointing the cast had fixed itself.
Oh well! No one says I can’t mess it up again uUwOo/
